My sister in year 4 (Australia) has mild autism and was falling extremely behind in school due to my parents being too busy with work and her teachers (understandably) not giving her any special treatment.
I tried teaching by buying her a few textbooks, and asking her to do some questions. I told her that if she was ever having trouble she should ask me for help.
She would get stuck on pretty much every question, and teaching her ended up taking up a lot of my own study time (I'm in year 11). Whenever I would explain something, she wouldn't understand, and she would get frustrated.
That's when I remembered khan academy, the site that helped me when I was in the bottom 14th percentile in the state for mathematics. I remembered how the videos would explain concepts like no other teacher I had previously had.
So one day after school, I told her that I wouldn't be teaching her today, that she would be taught by the same teacher who taught me when I was having trouble.
This getting a bit long, but to sum up, she almost instantly understood things that I had spent hours trying to teach her. After school every day, she couldn't wait to learn from "Martin's old teacher". From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for all the things you have done for students across the world, like me and my sister. Thank you so much.

Khan Academy is easily the best place that I know for have a well - learning about the subject of the school like, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Physics I would really like to thanks all of you guys for make this possible!

Khan Academy has changed my life by so much. I mostly practice on The World of Math. I was amazed by how good this website was. I was failing in my first marking period in Math. Now this website has helped me so much. I am so good at Math and it has improved my work by a lot.
